Dermalux is a non-invasive treatment that harnesses the power of pure light to accelerate the skins natural rejuvenation and repair processes
The treatment involves exposing the skin to low levels of this beneficial light energy from the visible and infrared part of the light spectrum which energise cellular functions to stimulate various cellular processes with therapeutic effects. Each appointment will be 45 minutes, this involves a double cleanse, exfoliation, application of a hydrating serum, 30 minutes under the LED, application of serums and moisturiser; using Medik8 products:
Following a Dermalux treatment, there are some immediate visible changes in the skin but most changes occur naturally over a series of treatments.
A single session is ideal an ideal ‘pick me up’ to replenish vital hydration, restore radiance or simply to calm irritated skin. A course of treatments taken in quick succession will achieve optimum results and maintenance treatments may also be recommended.
Results may continue to improve up to 4 to 6 weeks after a course as the effects of LED phototherapy continue to rejuvenate and improve the quality of the skin.
There is no downtime as such; clients can go back to doing their normal routine straight after treatment.
